We saved a ton of money by re-using the cabinets. All we needed was a heavy sander and a ton of paint and as everyone says, going green is easy and doesn't compromise beauty.




Here we go, goodbye old kitchen hello new. The short countertops were out, the window seen here in black was raised to counter depth height. The previous window seat was precious, but what was its function? To the right of the raised window we added TWO built in pantries. These were purchased on the cheap from Lowe's. They were pre-made, all we had to do was add molding and paint and easy easy we had storage!
